Someone said on the AGPT board that it is cute, but so in it will be out soon. I think it is so funny because I had a dress just like this in the 1980's! It was black with pink polka dots. It was the same concept though, straight then ruffled skirt. I think its funy all the things coming back now.

Like the straight jeans from "Blue Jean Basics" and Leggings from a lot of other outfits including first 2 "Meet" outfits. All of it is coming back now. So save those outfits and put them away, they will be back again in style someday! LOL

Do you have a pic of this dress?

Back in the 80's, my mom made me a pink dress with small black polka dots. Hahaha.

The two times I have been to AGLAP that dress girls are buying off the rack, changing into it and going to lunch. They love that dress. The doll embroidered party dress is also selling well. You can see it in peoples baskets.

I think the Birthday skirt is much cuter, but what do I know, I am a old lady.

It may be a retro style but the color is not.

    Oh the fun of AG.

I think its ok.. Its one of the only current AGOT outfits I don't have. The thing that turns me off about it is the one sleeve thats seperated. I'm all into trendy stuff but I think it just looks weird. It looks like it ripped or something.

I like it because it's one of the more grown-up looking AG outfits; if it ever goes on sale I might actually buy it for myself.

I thought something was wrong with the doll dress when I got it because I didn't know the one sleeve was separated like that! I like it anyway though, it's a pretty color.

Most of the current AGT stuff is very in style at the moment. That dress IS very in right now. It'll be out in a few years, and we'll all look back on it and say "oh that was *so* 2006!"

Just like looking back on old AGT outfits, the styles change, and that's what I find so great about the AGT line. I have a bunch of the outfits from the 90s, and I could pretty much create a doll who was from 1994, and I already have a huge wardrobe for her.

The 80's "look" is in right now (has been for a few years), but slowly falling out again, so it's pretty easy to see why they have a few looks that a sort of similar (like the skirt from the Birthday Girl outfit, and the leggings from the On the Go outfit). I hope they make an actual 80s style outfit soon. Perhaps as a new Halloween outfit.

I love vintage clothes in general, so I would love a 80's outfit! I would also love to see a 70's one.
